With the development of the H1 pumps/motors, Sauer-Danfoss responded to the trend towards electro-hydraulically driven mobile machines with greater functionality and higher power requirements.
Higher speeds, lower input speeds and a reduction in life cycle costs are required. H1 not only meets these requirements, but also enables simpler, more compact designs with servo-controlled hydrostatic pumps that can be used for increasingly complex functions. H1 is a completely new series intended for use in medium and high performance applications worldwide. The series includes axial piston variable displacement pumps for closed circuits, axial piston fixed displacement motors, axial piston variable displacement motors, PLUS+1 compatible control software and hardware.

Series 51 and 51-1 variable displacement motors are bent-axis motors with spherical pistons.
The motors are used in combination with other products, primarily in closed circuits for the transmission and control of hydraulic power. The motors in the 51 and
51-1 series are characterized by the very large adjustment range Vg max./Vg min. = 5 and very high output speeds. SAE flange motors, slide-in motors and DIN flange motors are available.
A complete program of adjustments and controls meets the requirements of a wide range of applications.
The motors normally start with maximum displacement. This enables maximum starting torque for high acceleration.
The adjustments can be supplied with internal signal pressure and superimposed by a constant pressure control (Vg min. -> Vg max.), which is effective both in motor operation and in generator operation of the motor. With a direction-dependent cut-off, the constant pressure regulator superimposition can be rendered ineffective in regenerative operation of the motor (pump operation).
The constant pressure regulator superimposition has a low pressure rise (short ramp) and thus enables optimum utilization of the power over the entire control range of the motor.
Motors with constant pressure control only (without cut-off) are also available.

Series 90 pumps and motors can be used together or in combination with other products in hydraulic systems. They are intended for use in closed-circuit applications.
Series 90 variable displacement pumps are compact units with high power density. All models operate on the parallel axial piston principle, together with an adjustable swivel disk to control the displacement of the pump. By reversing the angle of the swivel disk, the oil flow from the pump is reversed and consequently the direction of rotation of the motor.
The 90 series pumps are equipped with an integrated filling pump, which is used to refill the system and cool the oil flow, as well as providing control oil. They also include a range of through-drives to accommodate additional hydraulic pumps for use in complementary hydraulic systems. Various adjustments are available (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical) to adapt to the respective control system.
Series 90 motors also operate according to the parallel axial piston principle together with a fixed or adjustable swivel disk. The inlet and outlet are carried out through one of the connections; bidirectional. Alternatively, a circuit flushing system is also available which, in addition to cleaning the oil in the working circuit, also offers a cooling function.

Series 40 motors can transmit and control hydraulic power together with other components of a system.
The M25 size motor is only available as a fixed displacement motor, all other sizes (M35, M44 and M46) are available as both fixed and variable displacement motors.
With these axial piston designs with fixed or variable swashplate, speeds between zero and maximum can be achieved in both forward and reverse operation. They are compact units with a high power density (maximum 345 bar). The change in stroke volume is achieved by parallel axial pistons with sliding shoes that slide on an adjustable swash plate.
Swinging the swash plate in the opposite direction reverses the flow direction of the volume flow and thus changes the running direction of the motor.
The M35 and M44 motors operate with direct displacement limitation. The variable displacement motor size M46 operates with hydraulic 2-point adjustment and is also available as a slide-in motor, suitable for the compact wheel and chain drives (CW12, CW18 and CT18, CT26, CT35).

The L and K series motors are axial piston motors with 2-point adjustment for applications in the medium pressure range. The motors are designed for closed or open circuit applications and are available in five displacements (25cm³/rev - 45cm³/rev) and two different housing designs (SAE-B or cartridge).
L and K motors are hydraulically adjusted via an integrated adjusting cylinder and kept at maximum displacement without pressure by spring return. The minimum and maximum displacement can be limited to the desired values using different internal stops.
The generously dimensioned adjustment cylinder ensures smooth acceleration and deceleration with the aid of the corresponding nozzle.
The units are very compact and can be installed in a space-saving manner. The pressure connections are located either radially or axially in the end housing.
