S1X-Controller (Replacement)

The speed at which electrical components are being replaced is constantly increasing, and this is a growing problem in the field of special machine construction. 
In this sector, controllers and other electrical control systems that are available at the time of machine construction are used.  
However, only limited value is placed on the long-term availability of these components.

A failure of the machine control system can mean that replacement components are no longer available.  
The manufacturer of the machines has switched to the new generation of control systems, which are not backwards compatible, and only limited quantities of the old control systems are available as spare parts.  
The 10-year availability of spare parts is not sufficient for special machines, as these usually have to remain in use for much longer to justify the high acquisition or replacement costs.

Reprogramming a complete machine control system requires considerable investment. 
It is necessary to find a suitable platform and hire a programmer who understands the machine control system and can put it into operation. 
This often represents a high financial burden for many operators of special machines.

The new PC036 controller from Danfoss is equipped with the standardized PC-Go software and considerably simplifies the conversion to a new controller in an existing machine. 
The programming of the travel drive and the safety aspects are already pre-programmed and can be adjusted using parameters in a user-friendly graphical control panel, without the need for time-consuming programming work.

It is therefore possible to migrate older travel drives to a modern and sustainable platform. 
In addition to the PC036 platform, PLUS+1 controllers can also be used to map all the functions of the special machine. 
These controllers can be freely adapted using a graphical programming language, which leads to further cost savings.
